Women’s Health Hub

About the hub

The Women’s Health Hub is a one-stop shop designed to provide more joined-up care for women. It aims to help you access the right support more easily by bringing together services for a range of women’s health needs in one place.

This includes support with menopause, problems with periods, sexual health and cervical screening, contraception, pelvic pain, family planning, and other common women’s health concerns.

The hub has been shaped by community feedback and reflects what women have told us they need. Our aim is to make women’s health care more accessible, joined-up and responsive across all stages of life.

Our clinical team brings together doctors, nurses and other healthcare specialists to support women and works closely with hospital colleagues to provide coordinated, high-quality care.

We also ask patients on the contraceptive pill to have an annual pill check. If you need to have a pill check fill in this form. Our medicine management team will contact you once you have completed the form.

Cervical screening

Cervical screening, which used to be called a smear test, is a test to check the health of the cervix. This can help prevent cervical cancer.

It's offered to women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64. You will receive an invitation letter in the post when it's time to book your cervical screening. Your invitation letter will tell you where you can go for cervical screening and how to book.
