Menopause Group Discussions 

Menopause Group Discussions for HRT take place each month and 6pm to 8pm at Frome Medical Practice. Upcoming dates can be found on our events page 

The sessions are aimed at people who are perimenopausal or menopausal and considering taking HRT for the first time. Further information can be found on our menopause group discussion page.

Habits for Health: Navigating Menopause – Frome  

A 6-week interactive education programme that takes place at the practice. It's designed to support your health and wellbeing during the menopause transition and covers the following topics:

  • Setting goals for your health
  • Getting better sleep
  • Moving more
  • Taking care of your emotional wellbeing
  • Eating healthily
  • Connecting with others

Frome Birth Talk

Frome Birth Talk offers the only free and low-cost counselling service in the Frome area dedicated to supporting the mental health of pregnant and new parents.

Frome Birth Talk also offers several drop-in support groups per week for parents-to-be, parents with new babies and those with pre-school aged children.

They also offer a monthly baby loss support group for anyone dealing with the loss of a pregnancy or child.

The Nelson Trust – Women’s Community Services 

Throughout the week their Women’s Centres offer a full timetable of activities, including accredited educational courses, workshops, drop-ins and groups, which cover wellbeing, life skills and creative activities.

Services are trauma-informed, gender responsive, and provide holistic support for women and their families.
