Every Monday in the Live Well room (left hand side, glass room in main atrium area) from 10am to midday, apart from the last Monday of the month when the times will be 1:30pm to 3:30pm. An opportunity to talk in private about your needs and explore the right support from the most appropriate organisations. For veterans, serving forces members, family members, dependents and reservists.
Depression Medication Review Drop In
From 6pm to 7pm in the Live Well room (left hand side, glass room in main atrium area), a drop in for patients who are well and who'd like to discuss reducing the medication they are taking for depression. No appointment is needed. If another patient is already in the room you will be seen as soon as possible.
Solar and Beyond - bookable free advice sessions
The Healthy Homes team from Frome Town Council will be offering half hour bookable slots, at the practice, to come and chat specifically about Solar PV for your home or business. Please book your slot directly with the team by contacting them via the link on this webpage. Drop ins also welcome, but may have to wait or book another convenient time to chat with the team.
Long Term Conditions Support Group
The Long Term Conditions support group is an opportunity to meet with other people who live with a long term condition. This is a safe environment in which to talk and share experiences.
The group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm in the Boardroom (Upstairs) at Frome Medical Practice.
Workshop For Parents and Carers - Resilience
This workshop will take place at the practice from 5.30pm to 7:30pm. It will be facilitated by Young Somerset and is an opportunity to meet other parents / carers and share common concerns.
We discuss what helps young people to feel more confident in dealing with the up and downs of life.

Menopause Group Discussion
You must register if you wish to attend this session. These are not drop-in sessions and people booked to attend need to arrive for a 6pm start.
Our Menopause Group Discussions take place each month and start at 6pm (usually finishing by 8pm). The sessions are aimed at people who are perimenopausal or menopausal and considering taking HRT for the first time. Find out more here and complete our online form registering your interest and we will be in touch to confirm there's a space for you at this session.

COPD Support Group
The COPD Support Group takes place on the second Thursday of the month from 10:30am to 12pm in the Education Room at the practice. Aimed at patients with various lung conditions, for example chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
No need to book, just come along, but please call the Health Connections team on 01373 468368 if you’d like more information.
Young Person's Patient Group
Our Young Person's Patient Group takes place every second Thursday of the month, at the practice, from 3:30pm to 5pm. For young people aged 13 to 16
Digital Health Pop Up
We want to support as many patients as possible to use the NHS App and other online services. Come to our Saturday pop up at the practice, from 8.45am to 12.45pm, where the team can offer support with the NHS App, other Health Apps or any digital query specifically relating to Frome Medical Practice. No appointment necessary. Please bring your mobile device or tablet if possible. Find out more here.
