Our 'Navigating Menopause' programme starts today. This is a 6 week programme, with sessions taking place from 6pm to 7:30pm at the practice. Booking essential. Find out more.
Cervical Screening - Saturday Clinic
Appointment slots available from 8:40am to 11:50am For people who are due or overdue their cervical screening. Appointments can be pre-booked (the easiest way to book is via the NHS App) or drop in on the day.

A well woman information stand, with lots of information on further women's health support and resources will also be available at the practice on this date.
Patient Feedback Evening
Please join us at our Patient Feedback Evening. Come along and share your feedback on what is working well at the practice, where you'd like to see improvements and any ideas you have for the future. It is also an opportunity to meet partners, members of the practice management team and representatives of the Patient Participation Group.
There is no need to register to attend the event. Please turn up between 6:30pm and 7:30pm and Care Navigators at the information desk will direct you where to go. The event will finish at 8pm.
HEALS course starts
For patients living with long term pain or long term health conditions, HEALS is an 11 week online health and wellbeing course, which aims to help you manage your health challenges.
Workshop for parents and carers - anxiety and low mood in children
This workshop will take place at the practice from 5.30pm to 7pm. It will be facilitated by Young Somerset and is an opportunity to meet other parents / carers and share common concerns.
We will talk about the signs and symptoms of anxiety and low mood and share hints and tips on how to support your child.
Pain Cafe
The Pain Cafe is a peer support group for anyone living with chronic pain and is a chance to get with others in a safe environment, in which to talk and share experiences.
Takes place every last Friday of the month, from 11:30am to 1pm in the Education Room (upstairs and turn left) at the practice.
Long Term Conditions Group
The Long-Term Conditions group is an opportunity to meet with other people who live with a long-term condition. This is a safe environment in which to talk and share experiences.
The group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm in the Boardroom (Upstairs) at Frome Medical Practice.
Women's health for under 25's with Dr Jess Rutherford
From 6pm to 7pm at Frome Medical Practice, led by one of our GPs, Dr Jess Rutherford. Confused about your cycle, contraception, or what’s normal? This relaxed, GP-led session is for young people under 25, covering everything from periods to sexual health, with clear, trustworthy advice you won’t find on social media.
Menstrual health and what's normal, a talk by Dr Alice Gallen
From 6pm to 7pm at Frome Medical Practice, a talk with one of our GPs, Dr Alice Gallen. Join us for a myth-busting women’s health talk, exploring what’s normal in menstrual health and when to seek help. Covering anatomy, hormones, red flags, and lifelong cycle changes, with practical advice.
Community Connector training
Join us for this one hour simple, fun training session, from 11am to midday, and find out more about the support available in our community and how you can help friends, family, colleagues and neighbours find out what help is available to them if needed.
