Young Person's Patient Group
Our Young Person's Patient Group takes place every second Thursday of the month, at the practice, from 3:30pm to 5pm. For young people aged 13 to 16
COPD Support Group
The COPD Support Group takes place on the second Thursday of the month from 10:30am to 12pm in the Education Room at the practice. Aimed at patients with various lung conditions, for example chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
No need to book, just come along, but please call the Health Connections team on 01373 468368 if you’d like more information.
Digital Health Pop Up
We want to support as many patients as possible to use the NHS App and other online services. Come to our Saturday pop up at the practice, from 8.45am to 12.45pm, where the team can offer support with the NHS App, other Health Apps or any digital query specifically relating to Frome Medical Practice. No appointment necessary. Please bring your mobile device or tablet if possible. Find out more here.
Armed Forces Drop In
Drop in and see the Armed Forces Link Worker at Frome Medical Practice.
Every Monday in the Live Well room (left hand side, glass room in main atrium area) from 10am to midday, apart from the last Monday of the month when the times will be 1:30pm to 3:30pm. An opportunity to talk in private about your needs and explore the right support from the most appropriate organisations. For veterans, serving forces members, family members, dependents and reservists.
Frome Kindness Festival
Members of the practice Patient Participation Group and Health Connections Team will be chatting to patients visiting the practice to find out about their experience of kindness at the practice and what more kindness could look like. The suggestions that patients share will help shape a more compassionate and connected practice for everyone.
You can meet the Kindness Crew at the practice and have a chat on Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19 th March between 10am and 2pm in the main atrium area at the practice.
Depression Medication Review Drop In
From 6pm to 7pm in the Live Well room (left hand side, glass room in main atrium area), a drop in for patients who are well and who'd like to discuss reducing the medication they are taking for depression. No appointment is needed. If another patient is already in the room you will be seen as soon as possible.

Join us for our first in a series of Digital Confidence Sessions. This will take place in the Education Room (first floor) at the practice from 2pm to 4pm. Our first session will explore staying safe online and avoiding scams and will be led by Avon and Somerset Police Cyber Crime Unit. All welcome - this will be a relaxed and welcoming space to learn, chat and ask questions.

Pain Cafe
The Pain Cafe is a peer support group for anyone living with chronic pain and is a chance to get with others in a safe environment, in which to talk and share experiences.
Takes place every last Friday of the month, from 11:30am to 1pm in the Education Room (upstairs and turn left) at the practice.
