Spring Bank Holiday
The practice will be closed for the Spring Bank Holiday. Information on what to do when we are closed
Patient Participation Group
Starting at 6pm and taking place both face to face at the practice and online, the Patient Participation Group meeting is an opportunity for patients to work with the team at the practice and ensure the patient voice is heard.
Pain Cafe
The Pain Cafe is a peer support group for anyone living with chronic pain and is a chance to get with others in a safe environment, in which to talk and share experiences.
Takes place every last Friday of the month, from 11:30am to 1pm in the Education Room (upstairs and turn left) at the practice.
Healthy Homes Energy Advice
Visit the Healthy Homes team between midday and 4pm at their drop-in being held at Frome Medical Practice. Access free, impartial advice about keeping your home warm and dry and find out about grants, quick wins and support available.
Long Term Conditions Group
The Long-Term Conditions group is an opportunity to meet with other people who live with a long-term condition. This is a safe environment in which to talk and share experiences.
The group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm in the Boardroom (Upstairs) at Frome Medical Practice.
A Food and Health Conversation
Join us for an evening of conversation (6pm to 8pm) at the practice, about food and how what we eat affects our health, our communities and the environment. With guest speakers, an open conversation and nibbles. Expect fresh perspectives and thoughtful discussion on this topic. Spaces are limited. Booking essential here.
Carers Week Event
Drop in to the practice (main atrium area) between 10am and 12:30pm and meet Frome Carers Group and one of our Health Connections Team. Find out about Frome Carers Group and the support they offer, as well as how the practice can support unpaid carers and signpost you to other organisations and services for support.

Drop in to the practice (the Live Well Room, opposite the information desk) between 2pm and 3pm and speak to one of our Health Connectors from our social prescribing and health coach team. We want to listen to what is important to you as a carer and discuss how we can support carers, including signposting you to organisations and services for support.
Carers Week Event
Drop in to the practice (the Live Well Room, opposite the information desk) between 10am and midday and meet with the KeyRing charity. KeyRing provides individual support and group meet ups in Somerset for people who have a learning disability, autism or need support with their mental health. They are also available to talk to carers of people with learning disabilities and autism.
COPD Support Group
The COPD Support Group takes place on the second Thursday of the month from 10:30am to 12pm in the Education Room at the practice. Aimed at patients with various lung conditions, for example chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
