Other Events
Long Term Conditions Group
The Long Term Conditions group is an opportunity to meet with other people who live with a long term condition. This is a safe environment in which to talk and share experiences.
The group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm in the Boardroom (upstairs and turn left, or almost opposite the lift) at Frome Medical Practice.

Young Person's Patient Group
Please note, there won't be a group this month due to it being school holidays.
Our Young Person's Patient Group takes place every second Thursday of the month, at the practice, from 3:30pm to 5pm. For young people aged 13 to 16.
COPD Support Group
The COPD Support Group takes place on the second Thursday of the month from 10:30am to 12pm at Cordero Lounge, in the Westway Precinct, Frome. Aimed at patients with various lung conditions, for example chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
No need to book, just come along, but please call the Health Connections team on 01373 468368 if you’d like more information.
Habits For Health - new 6 week programme starts (at the practice)
Starting on Friday 10th April, our Habits For Health group will run for 6 weeks, from 11:30am to 1pm each week. This group supports you to lead a healthier life, making small changes which can lead to big improvements. Find out more and register to take part here. Digital Health Pop Up
We want to support as many patients as possible to use the NHS App and other online services. Come to our Saturday pop up at the Saturday Market (Cattle Market Car Park, Frome) from 9am to midday, where the team can offer support with the NHS App, other Health Apps or any digital query specifically relating to Frome Medical Practice. No appointment is necessary. Please bring your mobile device or tablet if possible. Find out more here.
Live Well With Pain - 6 week programme starts
Our next Live Well With Pain group starts on Thursday 16th April 2026. This is a 6 week programme, which will run from 11am to 1pm each week. If you're living with persistent pain you might be interested in taking part. Full details here.

Digital Confidence Session
Join us for our next Digital Confidence Session. This month the topic is an introduction to AI (artificial intelligence). The session will take place in the Board Room (first floor) at the practice from 2pm to 3pm. All welcome - this will be a relaxed and welcoming space to learn, chat and ask questions.
Pain Cafe
The Pain Cafe is a peer support group for anyone living with chronic pain and is a chance to get with others in a safe environment, in which to talk and share experiences.
Takes place every last Friday of the month, from 11:30am to 1pm in the Education Room (upstairs and turn left, or almost opposite the lift) at the practice.
Menopause Group Discussion
You must register if you wish to attend this session. These are not drop-in sessions and people booked to attend need to arrive for a 6pm start.
Our Menopause Group Discussions take place each month and start at 6.15pm (usually finishing by 8.15pm). The sessions are aimed at people who are perimenopausal or menopausal and considering taking HRT for the first time.
