Health Care Assistant Team

Our Health Care Assistant Team support our Practice Nurses and Clinicians.   

Health Care Assistants are trained to take blood samples, ECGs, blood pressure and help support wound care. They also support our diabetic team with foot assessments and are trained to carry out NHS Health Checks. 

The team also provide immunisations such as flu vaccines, shingles and pneumococcal vaccines.

#hellomynameis is a campaign to encourage and remind healthcare staff about the importance of introductions in healthcare, helping us to provide truly person-centred, compassionate care.
