We were delighted that Ben Gowland from Ockham Healthcare recently invited our Senior Partner, Dr Helen Kingston, onto his podcast to share more about our model of healthcare. The podcast discusses how sustainability is important to us as a practice, our approach to social prescribing (or what we call Health Connections in Frome), as well as looking at how we work collaboratively across our local community.
Retreats for NHS Workers

One of our GPs, Dr Tim Rigg and Jessie Teggin, from ‘Out In The Field’, were recently invited by Ben Gowland from Ockham Healthcare to discuss retreats for NHS Staff. We recently introduced the retreats offered by Out In The Field to the team at the practice as one of our ways of supporting staff wellbeing.

Karen Creffield, Managing Partner of Frome Medical Practice who are very highly regarded for their leadership in Sustainability in Primary Care. We cover a huge amount of ground from how a crumpled piece of paper started everything to modern practice of deprescribing medicines – and Karen’s principle that human health and planetary health are strongly connected.

Chiesi ENGAGE and Sustainability and Evaluation Lead Richard Podmore
Richard Podmore (Sustainability and Evaluation Lead) was invited to present Frome Medical Centre's ongoing work to make the building as environmentally sustainable as possible, as part of the Chiesi ENGAGE: Webinar series. Richard showed how we've saved money, reduced our impact on the planet and improved patient and staff experiences of the building thanks to managing the building in a sustainable way.
