Take part in research

We are a research practice, something we believe is vital to improving care for our patients. Being a practice that promotes research fits with our value ‘always learning’ and we are ideally positioned to act as a research hub for our community.

We are linked to the National Institute for Health and Care Research and we promote and share opportunities with patients about research they can get involved in.

Why take part in research?

  • Life-changing treatments start with people like you.
  • Both healthy people and those with health conditions are needed to take part in health and social care research.
  • You can choose to take part in a study at a time and location that suits you.
  • By taking part, you can help people live healthier and better lives - now, and in the future.

How to take part in research

As of Spring / Summer 2026, we are inviting patients to consider being involved in the following research where appropriate.

  • Starfish
  • My Melanoma
  • Cleft18-23
  • More-Kare
  • Exist
  • Domino
