Free sessions for patients on planning for future care and end-of-life needs.

Frome Medical Practice is holding an hour-long, free session for patients who are interested in looking ahead and planning for future care and end of life needs. The session will be hosted by Senior Partner at the practice, Dr Helen Kingston, and Julia di Castiglione, who is experienced in primary care and end of life care.

The session takes place at the practice on 31st July from 10:30am to 11:30am and will be an introduction to the topic, raising awareness of how we can plan for our future care, as well as looking at practical issues such as creating a will or a lasting power of attorney.

Dr Kingston said. “We plan ahead for holidays, birthdays and new jobs, but often we don’t plan for our future care and end of life preferences. But doing this is a gift to yourself and your loved ones, removing uncertainty and ensuring your preferences are known and providing peace of mind for all involved.”

“I’d encourage you to join us for this session, where Julia’s extensive experience and empathetic approach will help you navigate these sensitive topics with confidence. The practical information she shares will empower you to take proactive steps to plan ahead.”

The workshop is aimed at any Frome Medical Practice patients who are interested in exploring this important subject and starting to plan ahead, whether for themselves or on behalf of a loved one. The session is free to attend but patients are asked to register their interest by calling 01373 468368 or via the event page on Eventbrite.
