Frome Kindness Festival at Frome Medical Practice

Frome Medical Practice is taking part in the Frome Kindness Festival 2026, which runs from 14th to 21st March across the town. The annual festival celebrates the transformative power of kindness and its impact on relationships, physical and mental health and community wellbeing.

Organised by The Good Heart, the festival brings the community together through events, workshops, performances, and conversations designed to highlight the role kindness plays in strengthening social connection. The theme this year is ‘Imagine More Kindness’ and the festival programme includes a wide range of activities, from lectures and creative workshops to community gatherings, that explore how kindness can shape a healthier, more compassionate future for Frome.

Members of the practice Patient Participation Group and Health Connections Team will be chatting to patients visiting the practice on 17th, 18th and 19th March to find out about their experience of kindness at the practice and what more kindness could look like. The suggestions that patients share will help shape a more compassionate and connected practice for everyone.

You can meet the Kindness Crew at the practice and have a chat at the following times:

  • Tuesday 17th March, 10am to 2pm
  • Wednesday 18th March, 10am to 2pm
  • Thursday 19th March, 10am to 2pm

Karen Creffield, our Managing Partner, said, “As a practice, we aim to be a kind organisation where we care for each other, as well as for our patients, and where we also care for the world around us in responsible and sustainable ways. The kindness festival is an opportunity for us to encourage conversations around what a kind organisation looks like and we are looking forward to speaking to our patients about this over the course of the festival this year.”
