Motor Neurone Disease – Local NHS Support Somerset 

Provides diagnostic tests and ongoing care for people with MND. Support includes speech therapy, diet and nutrition advice, breathing assistance, physiotherapy, and coordinated care from a specialist team.

Stroke Association – Weekly Volunteer Calls Support 

People recovering from a stroke can receive weekly phone calls from trained volunteers for eight weeks. Each call lasts around 30 minutes. Language support may be available for those with limited English.
