Hearing Aid Batteries
If you have an NHS-supplied hearing aid, you can collect free batteries from Frome Community Hospital, Priory Health Park in Wells, or the RUH Audiology Department. Please bring your hearing aid record card or book with you.
Help with Hearing Aids – Frome
Free, volunteer-run clinic for RUH audiology patients. Offers hearing aid cleaning, tubing replacement, and advice. Held at Frome Medical Centre, Outpatients (1st floor) - Fortnightly on Fridays

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
Trains dogs to alert people to important sounds like alarms and doorbells. Dogs also provide companionship and emotional support.

Part of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Offers emotional and practical support for people with hearing loss and their families, including peer support and community outreach.
RNID (Royal National Institute for Deaf People)
National charity supporting people who are deaf, have hearing loss, or tinnitus. Provides information, support, and a free online hearing test.
