Sands is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity in the UK. Sands exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to ensure that anyone affected by the death of a baby receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need it.

Mind in Somerset provide free services, and some non-time limited- you can come back to some area of the service whenever needed. We support anyone that is bereaved by suicide, at any time during the bereavement. We support anyone aged 14+ in Somerset who has been affected by the death of someone through suicide, be that personally or professionally. Line available 24/7.
RUH Bereavement Support Service
The Bereavement Office provides a service for the newly bereaved families of patients who die at RUH.

The Compassionate Friends
The UK’s only national charity providing peer support to bereaved parents, adult siblings and grandparents who have experienced the death of a child, sibling or grandchild. Line available 10am to 4pm and 7pm to 10pm every day.
Child Death Helpline
If you’re a parent who has lost a child of any age, under any circumstances, and however recently or long ago, Child Death Helpline is here to help. We can also offer support to grandparents, siblings and the extended family, as well as professionals who have been impacted by the death of a child. Line available Monday to Friday at 10am to 1pm, and Monday to Sunday at 7pm to 10pm.

There are many practical matters to attend to when someone dies. Bereavement Advice Centre supports and advises people on what they need to do after a death.

A charity that provides digital bereavement information, advice and support for young people (up to the age of 25) across the UK who are grieving the death of someone important to them. Bereavement Support – Dorthy House
Bereavement support is one of the services our Family Support Team provides to our patients, their family, friends and carers. We offer a range of bereavement support options. Our initial support is designed to help bereaved families understanding the grieving process. For people who need further help we offer group support and 121 support from bereavement practitioners, if you feel you need to talk to someone.
Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide
Offer UK peer-led support to adults over 18 impacted by suicide loss. These are and are run by our volunteers, the majority of whom have been bereaved by suicide themselves. Line available everyday 9am to 7pm.

Pet loss support; here to help you cope with the loss of a pet, either through death, enforced separation or theft.
