Breastfeeding Policy
Frome Medical Practice welcomes and supports breastfeeding mothers and their babies. Mothers are welcome to breastfeed anywhere within Frome Medical Centre.
Our staff will support the needs and rights of breastfeeding mothers and help create a welcoming environment for families.
If concerns are raised by other patients or visitors, staff will explain that Frome Medical Practice supports breastfeeding and that mothers are welcome to feed their babies within our premises.
We support the Positive About Breastfeeding scheme, which encourages breastfeeding to be welcomed and supported in healthcare, community, and public settings.
