What do you enjoy about working at Frome Medical Practice?
I like working at Frome Medical Practice because it is an innovative and forward thinking surgery that does a great job at navigating the constantly moving landscape and challenges that it faces as part of the NHS. It always manages these challenges with the patient at the forefront of its decisions, and it is a supportive and friendly environment to work in and it cares about its staff.
What do you love doing when you are not at work?
When not in work I love enjoying the local countryside, especially the autumn colours, watching the kids play with our new labrador puppy, Wilbur, listening to the unusual words my two year old daughter comes up with (some sound more inappropriate than she means them to!), hearing my five year old son's imaginings, often that he is a puppy or leopard or similar, watching the older boys turn into teenagers (always entertaining!), doing martial arts (I teach a class in Frome) and seeing our family business develop over the last 2-3 years - we run a community centre with a cafe, art gallery and hire space, which enables us to meet lovely people and create a friendly, diverse and creative environment.
