“Attending our walk in sit and wait service which is delivered in Area 7 at the medical centre. This walk in service is operated by both GPs and highly qualified Nurse Practitioners. The hours of opening are:- 08:30am until 17:30. Emergencies only from 17:30 until 18:30”

Health Care Assistant and Practice Nurse appointments
These appointments vary from 10 to 30 minute duration depending on the type of request presented. These appointments are booked in advance.
To assist the receptionists, it would be helpful to share the reason for your appointment to ensure you are booked with an appropriate clinician.
Home visits are available for the housebound patient due to illness or disability. Requests should be made via the home visits telephone line by 10:30 in the morning. Visits will be conducted by GPs or Nurse Practitioners.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
We have two options available for you. You may wish to choose our drop in blood clinic for an appointment on the day, available Monday – Friday 08:30am until 11:30am and in the afternoon from 14:00pm until 16:30pm. Alternatively you can pre book an appointment online or by speaking to a member of staff.
Please could you share with the receptionist whether or not you have been requested to make a fasting blood test appointment. This will ensure an early appointment is offered to you.
